Whip up tender and juicy pulled pork in the Instant Pot for hassle-free dining. Serve in slider buns and pair with crisp veggies, a fresh salad, or even golden fries for the ultimate al fresco feast. Plus, this makes a lot of pulled pork (20 servings!), ensuring plenty of leftovers for effortless dinners on busy nights. Thanks, Janine Durazo, for this easy, crowd-pleasing favourite!

Ingredients

Toppings (optional): prepared Creamy Coleslaw, shredded cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce

Preparation
  1. Add seasoning, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and water to an 8-quart programmable pressure cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Cut pork into 1 lb (450 g) chunks; add to pot. Turn to coat.
  3. Secure lid. Place steam release valve in SEALING position. Press MANUAL button, select HIGH, and set time to 1 hr. It will take some time for the pressure cooker to get up to temperature before the timer starts to count down.
  4. When cooking time has finished, naturally release pressure for 10 min.
  5. Using a long-handled spoon, push steam release valve to VENTING position. Release pressure completely before opening lid.
  6. Remove pork from pot. Using two forks, pull pork into shreds.
  7. Press SAUTÉ and let sauce simmer. Add shredded pork back to sauce. Simmer 15 min, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, or until sauce has reduced to your liking.
  8. Fill each bun with 14 cup pork; add toppings, if desired. Refrigerate or freeze leftover pulled pork.
